A very wise man once told me, drama is like gatorade, it replenishes electrolytes.
I like to avoid drama at every corner. Keep things to myself if I can, the good, the bad and the in between. Now I'm not saying don't share the wonderful things you experience with other people, but more keep it too a minimum. This way nothing can be over analyzed in a way you wouldn't of thought of. Or inputs that could maybe destroy the feeling you get when you think back to a fond memory.
The past year as been something short of a roller coaster. I have grown and experienced so much in the 12 months that I wouldn't trade for the world. The people I have met and grown with are more special to me then they know. Sometimes you aren't sure how to deal with a situation or person. Like your friend disapproving of something your doing, or giving your hearts desire a kiss goodnight. Do you? Do you not? Somewhere, underneath all the layers, underneath the issues and the what ifs, you take the leap. May fate lead you where it may. You do what you believe in your heart to be right. And if someone else may not think the same, well maybe your not on the same page. Maybe they don't see it from your point of view. That's okay. That's the spice of life.
I now watch my life unfold before me, going through various stages of anticipation, followed by equal measures of disappointments or gratification. A roller coaster ride full of emotions, a ride I would not want to stop, relishing each moment and its accompanying sensations. I'm not in hurry or rushing anything because I'm just enjoying the ride a lot.
Live & Learn & Shake it off.
Love.
