Everything falls. She falls. He falls with her. She's slowly beautiful and even in all its current sadness, even in so much war, in so much chaos in the world. Even though it's all fucked up. Even now. It's been a year since it all happened and so much has changed. Her chest falls has his rises.

Tonight's a writing night, its raining, im not working and basically these thoughts need to be verbalized and heard. I wrote this last week and after careful editing im posting it. Its happening, Watch out world I'm coming through! On Monday I was feeling a bit off, maybe that's because it was a bad case of the Monday's  or maybe it was because the series of events over the weekend had led me to the realization that the men I meet through friends, or have previously encountered have some serious screws loose. Their chromosomes don't match up. It physically doesn't make sense to me how they can act in such a manner. This was a day were I really feel like everything was put into perspective and that my previous feelings and thoughts were correct. Thank you Dr. Joyce Brothers, you have proved me right once again. Lets get honest here, I mean the kind of honestly you portray when your about to lose the love of your life and your using everything you ha...

The Words On A Tombstone Do practical things if you want your tombstone to read “They were practical.” Do what makes sense if you think it should say “Their life made sense.” Do what the world wants if you believe in the epitaph “They did what the world wanted them to do.” But if you want it to read “They lived every second they were given  and touched the sky every chance they had,  they burned and blazed in all the colors the eye can see  and left a hole shaped like them in the world  when they left.” Then do something else. ******* ******* “ That being alone means you’re free. That old lovers miss you and new lovers want you and the one you’re with is the one you’re meant to be with. That the tingles running down your arms are angel feathers and they whisper in your ear, constantly, if you choose to hear them. That everything you want to happen, will happen, if you decide you want it enough....
" My suggestion is that whenever you have to choose, always choose the unknown, because the known you have already lived. Never miss the unknown, Always choose the unknown and go headlong. Even if you suffer, it is worth it." -Osho

Lets talk about the past week, its been a weird week, odd things have been happening i'm really starting to get concerned that the universe is all out of whack. I wonder if its only me appearing to do weird things without realizing or wanting to, or maybe everyone gets a turn like riding a bike and this was mine. You have to take risks, he said. We will only understand the miracle of life fully when we allow the unexpected to happen. Every day, God gives us the sun - and also one moment in which we have the ability to change everything that makes us unhappy. Every day, we try to pretend that we haven't perceived that moment, that it doesn't exist - that today is the same as yesterday and will be the same as tomorrow. But if people really pay attention to their every day lives, they will discover that magic moment. It may arrive in the instant when we are doing something mundane, like putting our front-door key in the lock; it may lie hidden in the quiet that follows t...
My co workers today got me thinking about good deeds, helping others just for the sake of it. Some were against the idea, thinking why help someone who does nothing for you in return, while others thought it attracted great karma. Obviously the ones who have bad karma should know why by now.. All of which reminded me of a few years back, a few girlfriends and myself were heading out for lunch. On the way there, just before a major intersection we were stopped in congested traffic. Of course its around noon and everyone in the west island has decided they can no longer bear their tiny offices any longer and must venture out for lunch.  To my left, I see an older woman crossing the street, not at the intersection like usual but j-walking. As she reaches the median in the middle of the road, she trips and falls. I see all of this and mention to the girls to look over, as they do we notice she's bleeding. After a few seconds she seems to be struggling, I tell my friend in the pass...

Grimm Love

Old writings from long ago, thought i'd share :) tragedy, accident, death.  you  can't  help but look,  imagine falling, the sidewalk just coming at you  they say vertigo  isn't  the fear you'll fall.  they say its the fear you'll jump  because maybe deep down we all have that urge,  to jump.  what's  natural is to wonder what  separates  us from them,  what matters is what makes us the same  do they have dreams at night,  did they ever feel his fears lift off of them.  I  don't  know what made me stay,  something kept drawing me closer and closer,  i had to see more.  imagine such a perfect understanding,  being with someone who sees you as you really are.  who reflects your image back to you as something beautiful and pure.  were you so  afraid  to be alone,  was it his need to be whole that drove...

Machiavelli Restaurant Present's... Be so good they can't ignore you. If i could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, only then would you realize how special you are to me

Oh Dear,

In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed through stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods. They make me giggle EVERY TIME! I mean seriously guys...   1.) On a sears hairdryer -- Do not use while sleeping.  (Damn, and that;s the only time I have to work on my hair)  2.) On a bag of Fritos -- You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside.  (the shoplifter special??)  3.) On a bar of dial soap -- "Directions: Use like regular soap. "  (and that would be how??......................)  4.) On some Swanson frozen dinners -- "Serving suggestion: Defrost."  (but, its "just" a suggestion.)  5.) On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom) -- "Do not turn upside down"  (well...duh, a bit late, huh )   6.) On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding -- "Product will be hot after heating"  (...and you thought??..............)  7.) On packaging for a Rowenta iron -- "Do n...
I think we should all seriously reconsider cell phones, go back to a time when you had just one house phone and if the person you were trying to reach wasn't there you left a message. Simple as that. I'm almost convinced the person who created the mobile telephone was too embarrassed to call his crush in fear of her parents answering first, and decided it would be less tasking on his ego if he just rang her mobile. Today I got an Iphone, but not before arguing with the cell phone provider for 2 days. I finally decided to take the plunge, join the 21st century and get an Iphone, which I'm sure now that I finally own one will go out of style faster than bell bottoms or pagers. Something new and exciting will hit the shelf within the week with a bang and I'll just be sitting here on the corner of awesome and bombdiggity playing with my dinosaur-age considered toy. Perfect. Yesterday was a big debacle and after previously dealing with the company and getting virtually n...

I want to immortalize this moment
I believe in magic, in subtle hints that the universe is trying to tell you something or lead you somewhere. Little things, like the time on the clock, or a song on the radio, or even the clasp on your necklace. Just little things that you might not think to listen to, or be aware of. You need to close your eyes and open your mind. Open your eyes, Close your ears. Close your ears, Open your eyes.  One of my favorite  superstitions is the clock striking 11:11. The moment where you make a wish, anything you want, everything you want. Try it, Make a wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true, you never know where the next miracle is going to come from, the next smile. You've got to believe its right around the corner waiting for you, and if you open your heart to it, your mind, your soul to the possibility, to the certainty of it. You've just got to believe in magic, you might just get the thing you're waiting for, but you need to believe it...

The jar effect.

Image
A beautiful realization for the world to notice. A professor stood before his class with some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again, if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor, proceeded to pick up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with  a unanimous "yes." The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed. "Now,...

A fairy is a loving creature, a caring kindred soul if you will. Let me tell you, I've no intention of loving people by halves, it's not in my nature. My attachments are always excessively strong. Everyone whom I have even loved or felt a connection to, has taught me things, made me realise things and opened my heart just a tiny bit more. I have a handful of past loves that have made me into who I am today, of course along with the help and influence of my friends. There will always be a reason why you meet someone, either you need them to change your life or you're the one that changes theirs. There's always that one person that comes into your life though, whether it be for a short amount of time or an eternity, that shakes you up. This person stands out from all the rest. They come out of nowhere, walk right into your life and rattle the very foundation to which you exist upon. This person might just be your soul mate. While I believe in life you have more then on...

Chapter Two ; The bistro

Image
So has I mentioned in chapter one, while trying to figure figure out my life's path, a fairy needs to work to support the joy she spreads across the land. One of my jobs, is working as a waitress at a modern bistro. This is a great job, because it keeps me busy, and allows me to interact with all sorts of people at the same time, which I love. There are some quirks though. Sometimes your customers are rude, or consider you to be there slave for the duration of their meal, or my favourite, the customers who just like to complain. My regulars are absolute gems, especially at lunch because they make the time fly by, plus they're always generous. There are some tips I wish I could give them though, for example, just because you come to our restaurant every other day does not give you the right to create your own menu. If we have a regular hamburger on our lunch menu, please don't order a California burger. My chef changes the chef features weekly for a reason, if your Calif...

Chapter One

Lets talk about a day in the life of a fairy. Daily adventures, life goals, a bucket list to complete all while trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do with my life. While my long term goal is/was to become a behavioral analyst, as the years go on I've become much more fascinated with writing and travelling. What I really want to do is travel, write books, make art, drink wine and find someone who likes me enough to kiss my face. While I've done a bit of travelling, not nearly enough to satisfy myself and painting here and there, the urge to sell everything I own and just take off is becoming more and more alluring every day.  Maybe its the weather or the past few months that have driven me to believe that maybe there is nothing left for me here. Maybe it's time to broaden my horizons and see what the world really has to offer. I'm in love with quotes and cities I've never seen. There are so many cultures and people i want to learn about and...
